about me.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental, empathic and congruent approach. By exploring your lived experience, I will help you gain awareness on your thoughts, emotions and behavioural patterns.
My approach is unique for each client as I am convinced that one approach does not fit all. I offer an integrative approach which means I combine several approaches according to my client’s needs.
Having lived in several countries, gave me insight into diverse cultures, values and traditions. This enabled me to have an open mindset when working with people and to appreciate cultural diversity, particularly in the therapeutic working alliance.
I welcome clients from all different types of backgrounds, cultures, races, identities, religion, disability, gender, sexuality and age. I work with adults (18+) and offer both short term (6/12 sessions) and long term therapy.
I have worked in a wide range of settings including the NHS which has given me invaluable experience and exposure to working with several issues.
Areas of counselling I work with:
Anxiety
Stress
Self-esteem
Depression
(Cultural) Identity problems
Grief and Bereavement
Loneliness
Issues in the work environment
